Jan Spilman, RN, MEd
Registered Clinical Counsellor
As a loss and trauma therapist and mental health educator since 1989, and as a family caregiver, I have theoretical, professional and personal experience with the caregiving journey - a journey of bright, poignant moments and dark days of grief and despair.
As I cared for my husband during his last 7 years of life, I learned personally the benefits of using individual therapy to prevent depression and burnout, promote emotional wellness and enhance quality of life.
